i-D kick starts the new season with a celebration of what it means to be young today. Youth isn’t determined by what age you are. Nor what stage of life you’re in. It isn’t to do with experience, nor responsibilities. Feeling youthful is finding joy and pleasure in everything you do, whatever your age.
Being young and living in Tokyo is one of the most exhilarating things in the world. For The Just Kids Issue, i-D flew to Japan to meet some of the exciting young creatives who make this futuristic city tick. Giving a sneak preview of what lies in the issue, here we present the cover image from the story shot by Takay and styled by Tsuyoshi Noguchi featuring Tokyo born actor, Shota Matsuda.
