Yesterday evening i-D online tripped through the mesmerizing mind and oh so wonderful wardrobe of Louise Gray as she celebrated the launch of her Topshop clothing and make-up collection.

Taking place in the ‘Edited’ enclave of Topshop’s Oxford Street mega-store, the fashion pack squeezed into the space to coo at Miss Gray’s brand-spanking new sequined sensations. Revellers feasted on finger-sized egg on toasts and shuffled to the pop-pumped sounds of DJ Good Doggy, surrounded by Louise’s capsule collection, which extends to her very first, very own make-up line. Actress Jamie Winstone supermarket swept her way through the store, cordwainer Nicholas Kirkwood was spotted slipping into something sparkly by the graffti’d changing rooms and Game of Thrones starlet Gwendoline Christie (better known as Brienne of Tarth) towered over the crowd, grinning from ear to ear, she and LG are best pals see. i-D admired Princess Julia’s thoroughly apt Louise Gray and Alaïa combo, talked globe-trotting galore with Susie Bubble and did a spot of Ibiza dreaming with Katie Eary. Danced out and in a colourful daze, Team Topshop sent us packing with old school sweetie bags filled with an LG compact mirror and sugared rainbow drops. All in all an evening packed with fifty shades of everything but grey!
