Opening on Duddell Street, the luxurious Mansion Shanghai Tang is the biggest store in the 18-year-old brand’s stable of international stand-alones. The perfect fusion seen in their fashions carries through into the design of the mansion, marrying Art Deco with Chinese symbols across three floors, in a labyrinth of rooms offering womenswear, menswear, bespoke and a fragrance bar! Decadent to te extreme, it’s packed to the rafters with shimmering chandeliers and hand-crafted wallpaper. After the grand-opening of the store, i-D online had the chance to hear from Team Shanghai Mansion.
