For SS13, Ports 1961 breezed cheerfully through the colours of the rainbow to create a fresh, poppy collection full of summertime pizzazz. There were streamlined lime green suiting, Paddington bear checked trousers, overcoats the colour of golden corn and purple rain Macs (pun intended). Lilac double-breasted suits and a dusty pink jacket with matching leather tote and shoes completed a collection ideal for a man in touch with his feminine side and unafraid to shine. Creative director Fiona Cibani relocated the brand to Milan this season, and the influence was felt in the choice of suiting, while voluminous short-sleeved shirts and tailored shorts in differing hues of grey were perfect for the more conservative dresser.
