For SS13, Marc Jacobs showed a tightly edited collection fit for a modern day Humphrey Bogart, complete with chic trilbies, sharp 40′s inspired tailoring and two-tone brogues. Crisp seersucker suits in tan and washed-out grey, rumpled linen pea coats, short belted trenches and cropped, cuffed trousers fell short to reveal blood cell-printed lace-up Oxfords. Brightly coloured papaya print trousers and kooky-cabana shirts injected Jacob’s signature fun and wit into proceedings whilst the super slim fit and modern suiting made sure this collection meets the sartorial needs of today’s leading men. Here’s looking at you kid.
