Modern day grunge for 2012? Beanies; check. Plaid; check. Long haired kurt lookalikes; check. This season Californian Samson bought things BANG up to date by referencing ‘pimped’ automobiles, from Asia to Essex; in particular the way people customise their vehicles in the pursuit of individuality. This translated as dazzling ear piercings, blinged out bomber jackets and flip flops with grillz. Cute oversize kitten print T-shirts adorned with metal spikes, felt fresh worn alongside baggy khaki shorts and essential street swagger. Shaun Samson has arrived.
