Saunders is THE master of print and colour. This season he showed off his skillz with graphic polka dots suffused with geometric fades of colour on short-sleeve shirts, twinsets, and chic trench coats; basically dazzling optical prints that made you need to squint (in a good way). Throw in some perfect waffle knits in zingy colours, precisely-cut luxe bomber jackets, some classically cut pinstripe suiting and you have an ultra-modern collection exuding Saunders’ trademark sophistication. i-D could almost hear the mental shopping lists being made all around us during the presentation at the Elms Lester Painting Rooms.us
