Thought up by our Fashion Editor Elgar Johnson, who hosted it alongside Terry and Tricia Jones and Victorinox, it was an amazing night of dinner and drinks at Bistrotheque, with tasty dishes like lamb over sea purslane, and peaches with rosemary mascarpone. There were inspiring – and hilarious – before-and-after dinner speeches by Judy Blame, Dennis Morris, Richard Buckley, Mark Lebon and Sir Norman Rosenthal, who all shared stories and jokes about their colourful lives; and many shout-outs to inspiring women such as Dame Vivienne Westwood, at table 2. And, of course, there was an extraordinary guest-list of the fashion galaxy’s brightest stars, including Carrie Cassette Playa, Christopher Kane, Dylan Jones, Gareth Pugh and Carson McColl, Gwendoline Christie, Katie Grand, Katie Eary, Nicholas Kirkwood, Panos Yiapanis, Terence Koh, the SIBLING massive and many, many more. Our special thanks go to Adrienne Merrill and Victorinox, without which none of this would’ve been possible. The worldwide Swiss heritage brand – famed for its watches, its Swiss Army Knives, its awesome jackets and its ongoing collaboration with Christopher Raeburn – sponsored dinner and kept us company all night… thank you Victorinox and Ketel One.
