The Giorgio Armani men march in twos, or threes, or even fours. First out were a pair of boys with matching suits in ash grey, shoes, belts and shirts in snow white, and bags in caramel tan. Then came a trio in classic Armani suits and slicked-up hair, looking the business. Through the course of the show there were a lot of twins – with trilbies and thin-striped Breton shirts; with dainty neckerchiefs tied around their necks and jackets over oiled torsos – although some looks, such as a Mao Jacket in butterscotch crocodile skin, demanded a solo presentation along the catwalk. Our favourite silhouettes were the most relaxed suit trousers, and our favourite accessories were the wonderful oval sunnies and round Harry Potter spectacles – pure magic.
