There was an influx of femininity in the Diesel Black Gold menswear show in Milan. This however shouldn’t make the Diesel boy nervous as these feminine influences were very subtly introduced; slightly higher waists, shorter hem lines and a touch of delicate embroidery, each serving to compliment a cool, easy collection. Diesel seemed to have nailed how guys today want to look and how the lines between the way the sexes dress are becoming more and more blurred. Bold and contrasting textures were executed really beautifully; satin with Japanese microfiber, jacquard with ribbed knits and leather with suede. All of these elements were brought together perfectly, ensuring the collection remained current and true to brand Diesel.
