The next generation of basketball stars and skater kids are pulling on their Chuck Taylors and getting ready to bounce following this morning’s launch of Converse Represent, a series of summer gigs taking place on the 100 Club’s legendary stage.
The ultimate intimate musical experience to honour the heritage of the 100 Club and its flourishing first year of partnership with Converse, the tunes commence 30th July for nine consecutive nights (weekends off of course) with entry gratis, if you’re lucky enough to be picked out of the Converse snapback. Following in the footsteps of Paul McCartney and The Sex Pistols, kicking off the sets is Barcelona based producer John Talabot (pictured bottom), a firm i-D fav. With a choice ranging from electro masked-maverick SBTRKT to original punk-rockers UK Subs, plus Paul Weller, Santigold and Nas in between, Converse have packed a whole array of melodious diversity into nine club-sized nights on the house.
Headlining the event Plan B will make an appearance playing his highly rated, new iLL Manors material. Check out our exclusive track ‘Lost My Way’ from the estate-raised spokesman, featuring the deeply talented Raekwon.
