Christopher Bailey’s men illuminated the runway like an army of Quality Street, albeit very stylish ones. Delicious candy wrapped treats came in the shape of metallic blue, green and pink bomber jackets, wraparound rain Macs and slim cut trousers. There were beautiful sharp-collared overcoats in ethnic prints, 70s inspired shirts, voluminous bomber jackets and an elegant silk short-sleeved shirt and boxer combo perfect for steamy days and even steamier nights. There was still plenty of clean tailoring to choose from for the more reserved gentlemen, but this was very much a collection about separates. Pick just one item from the assortment of glossy rainwear, razor sharp suiting and metallic sandals to give a bit of kick to your wardrobes during Old Blighty’s now notoriously wet summers.
