Our series of straight-ups celebrating ten tip top years of UNIQLO’s UT collection continues!
Becky Frail
Hardworking, happy and peppy could equally be Becky Frail’s middle names. Juggling both her position as Customer Advisor at UNIQLO and earning that well-deserved degree at university, she sure knows how to keep her chin up high and faithfully follows the motto ‘always try your best.’
What are you wearing? My UT top, grey jeans, slip-on shoes and a head-band. Tell us about your chosen UNIQLO T-shirt? It represents a younger social generation. Simple, basic but it’s bold and effective. Which one track opens your soundtrack to SS12? ‘Paris’, Kanye West and Jay Z. What one thing do you never leave your home without? A statement handbag or accessories.
Ben Harris
Hungry for success (enjoying a fantastical adventure along the way of course) 22-year-old Ben Harris has globe-trotted from New Zealand to London, landing a job in UNIQLO’s Finance Department at his destination. Other than looking forward to UNIQLO taking over Europe, Ben likes to wander around the city taking snapshots.
What are you wearing? Jeans and my UNIQLO UT tee. Tell us about your chosen UNIQLO T-shirt? It captures a fantasy of all pirates searching for the one worthwhile item in existence. What’s your favourite thing about working at UNIQLO? The potential of the brand to dominate the retailing industry. Success in Asia proves the ability of senior management, the brand and the people involved. What’s the best piece of advice you have ever been given? There’s no point in only doing half a job.
Emma Bates
Close to celebrating her first UNIQLO birthday, Emma Bates has held her position as Head of Finance for just under a year. When it comes to fashion Emma knows what she likes and chooses to embrace femininity by loving all things floral, pretty and girly, perfect to frolic in the blissful Spring sunshine.
What are you wearing in the picture we’ve snapped of you? Laura Ashley green print UT and jeans. Tell us a bit about your chosen UNIQLO T-shirt? It’s a classic LA print that is fresh and perfect for spring. Which one track opens your soundtrack to SS12? ‘Blue Jeans’, Lana Del Rey or ‘Spectrum’, Florence and the Machine. What one thing do you never leave home without? I always try to remember my sense of humour… What’s the best piece of advice you have ever been given? Keep things in perspective, remember what is important and forget what is not!
