Curated by My Panda Shall Fly front-man Suren Seneviratne and Lucie Gracie, located at Dalston’s newest basement dive bar Birthdays, Band Practice went into session last night. The brainchild of NTS founder Femi Edmund Adeyemi, B.P is a monthly night centred around all kinds of different sounds. With last night’s roster headed-up by former lead singer of Can, Damo Suzuki and featuring appearances from hypo-rock outfit Temperatures and Paul Camo, the low lit venue was rammed to it’s brand spanking new rafters! Attracting a varied crowd, Wednesday night suddenly became the new Thursday and next day work woes faded away. Set to be as popular as every other project NTS grace with their midas touch, Band Practice is all about appreciating good quality music whilst keeping spend to a minimum. Our is an open mic and soda please.
