You might think combining the responsible BRABUS smart for two car with Swedish street style powerhouse WeSC – pronounced “wi:, es, si” – could cause some aesthetic friction. That is, until you’ve stuck your head near the dashboard and witnessed the slick lines of a truly pimped-out interior. WeArethe
SuperlativeConspiracy are a family of creatives inspired by skateboarding and snowboarding, and this year they’re injecting their Scandinavian cool into a go-faster collaboration that would rival any race-car. Tuned with turbo features, alloy wheels and sports suspension, the one-of-a-kind smart BRABUS tailor-made by WeSC now packs an even more dynamic punch. “As collaborations have become a fundamental part of street fashion it is important to evolve and create something new, unique and unexpected,” explain the collective. “As travel, urban mobility and music are big parts of our lifestyle, the opportunity to explore this relationship with smart was very interesting.” As we’re just about to play our summer soundtrack, what better way to blast those tunes than through the swanky hands-free headphones for smart by WeSC, which come with the car? “We worked with the Mercedes-Benz and smart design team for the design and development of the headphones,” they continue, “but also with WeSC to design and tailor all external and internal finishes and details of the car, pushing the boundaries of collaborations and building on the very different strengths and products of each brand.” It’s a new generation of smart car for street culture joy rides… and big, big tunes, of course! i-D online backied up with the crew to follow them for one day aboard their boards.

Headphones will retail for 80.
