Ashleigh Johnson
Ashleigh Johnson is the easy-going 20-year-old who’s loves to live life loud and splash her style with a healthy hint of bright colours. Having mastered her expertise in Visual Merchandising at UNIQLO for a year, one day Ashleigh hopes to pack up her suitcase and go jet-setting across the globe.
Tell us a bit about your chosen UNIQLO T-shirt? It’s from the UT collaboration with Barbie, which reminds me of when I was growing up. I love the bright pop colours. It makes it more fun. I’m wearing it with UNIQLO skinny fit jeans. What’s your favourite thing about working at UNIQLO? The constant buzz of London around me everyday. There’s always new challenges to face and new people to meet. What one thing do you never leave home without? My phone because to keep me busy on the train, or my nail varnish because I always chip it at work! What’s now? At the moment I’m just enjoying my job, going out at the weekend and having fun.
Gamel Salem
Gamel Salem is the music-loving, head-bopping, twenty-something who’s been working the ropes as a Customer Adviser at UNIQLO for four months. He tells us, if he were to have his own personal Spring/Summer 12 runway show his top tunes of choice would be Example’s ‘Midnight Run’ or ‘Last Time’ by Labyrinth. That’s a hit!
What are you wearing in the picture we’ve snapped of you? UT Space Brother tee, UNIQLO trousers and white Vans. What’s your favourite thing about working at UNIQLO? I like working at UNIQLO because I like the fashion and being able to help people express themselves through their clothing choices. What is the best piece of advice you have ever been given? Fall down seven times, get up eight.
