Now in their fifteenth year of design, J.Lindeberg held the launch of the sixth outing of their biannual book in Sweden. Creative director, Jörgen Ringstrand has given homegrown photographers, Andreas Sjödin and Jesper Brandt, illustrator Cecilia Carlstedt, artist Tinka Luiga and many others free reign to interpret the J.Lindeberg SS12 collection. Taking inspiration from the holiday island of Gotland, in Northern Scandinavia, the story weaves a rich aesthetic narrative as Team JL imbue their clothing with a rich back story.
Attending the Scandi-soirée was the mastermind behind it all Jörgen Ringstrand, contributor Lars Alexsson, blonde bombshell bloggers, Ida Rislöw and Kristin Zetterlund on the arm of Swedish street-styler Iris Hjelmstedt and many others. The notion was simple: attract the continent’s most creative tastemakers and celebrate a Swedish style heritage in their very own backyard. Skål!
