There isn’t a flaw in sight. With her pearly porcelain skin, rich locks like dark chocolate and those big baby blues, Antonia is a total fashion knock out. When Miss Wesseloh isn’t busy whizzing around the world wowing the crowds (Tokyo, Milan, here, there and everywhere) she spends time in her home town Hamburg, doing normal 16-year-old things: shopping, starbucks and spending time with the BF. Photographed by Nick Dorey and styled by Hanna Kelifa for The Royalty Issue, i-D online caught up with the starlet for a round of question time, touching on Jessie J, the great outdoors and falling in love. She’s a breath of fresh air.
When/ how were you scouted? I applied to different agencies in Hamburg, Modelwerk was the only agency who gave me a callback. Not a bad thing in the end.
Describe yourself in 5 words… I’m feeling sexy and free! haha
Where are your favourite places to hang out in Hamburg? The city center because of the shopping, Starbucks and my agency.
What’s the best shoot you’ve worked on so far? I would say the Prada campaign, it was my first big shoot, so I will remember it forever.
Where is your favourite place? Home sweet home (Buxtehude).
What’s your beauty regime? Horse riding (nature and fresh air) and drinking lots of water.
How do you define beauty? Feeling comfortable with yourself.
What do you get up to when you’re not modelling? Hanging out with my boyfriend.
What’s the most played song on your iPod? Jessi J ‘Domino’.
Who are your favourite models? Tricky. My boyfriend is a model too so he is definitely my favourite male model. But I think every model is different and you should try to be yourself.
What are your friends like? Funny, lovely and reliable.
What’s your first thought when you look in the mirror? Um, what party did my hair go to without asking me?!
Are you in love? Yes :)
