Currently hitting headlines as the star of US TV series Boardwalk Empire, actor Michael Pitt oozes old Hollywood style in this behind-the-scenes glimpse at another traffic-stopping Prada advertising campaign!
Man of many talents, not so long ago Mr Pitt stepped into the musical spotlight with his missus and The Graduate Issue cover star, Jamie Bochert (as featured here and in The Hedonist Issue). For SS12 though he’s donning the fashion cap, embracing a James Dean style persona, sporting dark aviator sunglasses and posing with an electric guitar. In the David Sims shots Pitt is also seen wearing a two-piece checked suit and flat cap, channelling Golden Age Hollywood with a heritage twist. Quite the style meets silver screen trailblazer, Miuccia Prada loves a spot of movie star glamour involving big-name players Willem Dafoe, Jamie Bell and Adrien Brody in Prada’s Milan show earlier this year, see i-D online’s front row finale video here.
