Founding cultural rag THE NEW BRITISH with mentor, mate and former legendary art director of The Face, Neville Brody, Kez Glozier was never going to be content working as a contributor to any publication other than his own. Keeping his highly-anticipated project under wraps for the past twelve months, team NB have been working tirelessly to bring a whole new enterprise to the scene. In his own words, Kez describes the magazine as “an unflinching look at Britain today… a documentary and celebration of our culture.” Leaking snippets of information and teasing audiences through various social networking antics, TNB will launch soon, celebrating everything British within the world of the creative arts. Sourcing emerging and established talent to contribute, i-D regular Paul Joyce is heavily involved and Nick Knight is tipped to lend his lens to the project too. i-D online, donned some Docs and braces and headed down to NEW BRIT’s most-recent All English bash taking place at Dalston institution Manero’s to scoop some snaps. What’s up-and-coming for twenty-twelves we asked Kez, ‘to inspire the uninspired.’
