The Frank Gehry designed IAC building set an appropriate back drop for Justin and Thea’s architectural AW collection. Although they chose a Victorian muse (the novelist and illustrator Beatrix Potter) the collection felt fresh and modern. Abstract leaf and butterfly prints were collaged together with an antique-hued palette of ivory, green and orange. The streamlined silhouettes consisted of straight skirts, shifts and blouses, impeccably pieced together. The Preen women has arrived at a new place. Gone are the complicated jumpsuits and asymmetric trousers, she has made room in her wardrobe for feminine tailoring with elegant ease.
