The Jonathan Saunders show sent us rolling on back to the 70’s with retro printed shirts and shift dresses and a colour palette of greens, blues and oranges. There was nothing dated about this though, with silhouettes kept clean and modern. The Saunders girls was pristine, looking like they meant business with sleek pleating and stiff tailoring. There was a definite element of fun in the collection; some of the girls wore visors, hem lines were raised from last season and sheer fabrics were cheekily introduced. As always there’s more to Saunders than meets the eye.
