For the third installment of their ‘Women’s Tales’ series Miu Miu present ‘The Woman Dress’.
Directed by Italian filmmaker Giada Colgrande, this dreamlike sequence features the fittingly named ‘Culte Sunglasses’ and explores the ultimate sacrifice as actress Maya Sansa forfeits her body to a coven of elegant and ethereal witches in order to transform into her one true desire – a lace cut-out, blood-red dress. Set to the haunting sounds of electro hypno-folk trio Au Revoir Simone, the three witches are played by the all female band members. ‘The Woman Dress’ is a metaphysical anecdote of obsession, ritual and sacrament so if fashion is your first love, you better watch on…!
