Erdem had all the grown up prim and properness that it’s famous for but this season there were darker undertones. All the elements of a pretty, prim society girl were present with delicate lace, florals and tweeds but she looked like she was up to no good! Lace was delicate but in black and worked to expose arms and décolleté. Looks were completed with scarves tightly wrapped around the girls’ necks giving a tougher, power look. Black rubber was introduced in a very feminine way, again adding to the darkness of the season. An undeniably beautiful collection, well put together and true to its roots.
