Back in the summer of ’09, i-D took to the streets of London and snapped the second generation of stars from talent farmyard and Brit TV success story Skins for The P.Y.T. Issue. Two and a half years on, with the previous batch lighting-up screens and breaking hearts left, right and centre, we’ve done it all over again with the latest intake.

The third crew to board the merry Skins ship, Dakota Blue Richards, Sebastian De Souza, Sean Teale, Jessica Sula, Alexander Arnold, Will Merrick, Laya Lewis, Freya Mavor and Sam Jackson are the tip top talented teens poised to shake things up this month as the show sets sail onto our screens for its sixth series. With all but Sam (who plays enigmatic new character Alex) returning for their second series of the hit show, they’re now seasoned screen dwellers and if history is to repeat itself, stars of the future. The same watershed shattering high jinx is to be expected from the still oh so young, but now rather experienced team of writers, and with the team hopping o’er to Morocco for episode one, the cast followed in the footsteps of SJP and her Sex and the City ladies, but here’s hoping Team GB serve a less heavy-handed portrayal of their surroundings. With the hotter-than-hot troupe set for starry, starry heights it’s a must-see, if only to bag yourself future bragging rights in the form of “Oh, I remember Freya when she was in Skins” type statements. Get scrolling. Get gazing. Get under the SKIN.
