Back to school was the theme for Dsquared2 AW12. The set was made to look like a classroom filled with fresh faced fellas doing what boys do at school: cause trouble. Paper aeroplanes circled the set and know-it-all behaviour carried on all the way down the catwalk. It would have been easy to make this a show on school uniforms but Dean and Dan were cleverer than that, creating a well thought out collection of boys wearing clothes without fuss; straightforward dressing. Checked jackets, shirts and trousers, clean tailored suits and even a tracksuit made an appearance. It was a very effective formula and showed a less glitzy side to the label that will open up a whole new audience.
