The Metiers d’Arts collection by Chanel was presented in Paris at Le Grand Palais. The theme was Paris-Bombay and so naturally, fusing these two cities in the Chanel shaker, the result was laid back opulence. Stars from Indian cinema (Freida Pinto) and Indian Vogue were present in the seated audience and down the runway came Stella Tennant, Yasmin Le Bon, Caroline de Maigret and all the Chanel angels. Afterwards Karl Lagerfeld and Lady Amanda Harlech (his muse) gave interviews to the press, he talking about “anti-morosité” and she her three week inspiration finding trip to India!
