There’s enough nostalgia in a pair of white Donnay socks to summarise the 90s. Throwbacks have broken free from the shackles of irony and earned their place in a credit list as equals. But when you’re wearing sportswear and you’ve gone for rude hair, you better have the attitude to justify it. For this “tacky chic” look, as the dynamic duo put it, photographer Leonn Ward and stylist Luci Ellis were inspired by “a lot of tacky things, but when put together nicely, look better than anything else.” So match what doesn’t go, break the cool rule and you’ll end up where you wanted to be all along. The girls said the soundtrack to the shoot was Drake I’m On One. We surmise the explicit version.
