Bold and Bright: The show make-up at Jean Pierre Braganza and Manish Arora was a key marker for this trend. Bold lines, graphic liner, colourful brows, bright glossy lips and radiant skin are the key factors for this theatrical look where people can create a new identity for themselves.
Black and Blue: Grunge chic with a masculine edge and a real sense of Winter is visible with the cold blue, blacks and icy purple tones for this look. Contours to the eyes and cheeks were strongly influenced by Prabal Gurung which gave an underlying eeriness and dominated the face. A glossy finish within the purple two-toned lips gives a tough feel and hard edges are evident in this make up but are complimented with blended edges so there is still femininity.
Burnt Orange: This look focuses on a ‘subtle’ trend from AW, which creates a soft, warm mood rather than anything too dominating. Catching our eye at Donna Karen an Rodarte was a mixed textural palette of matte skin and highlighted eyes.
Lashings of Lashes: Lashings of mascara were seen at Gucci, Moschino and Miu Miu. If you are going to do lashes this season the eye needs to become the focal point of your look. Clumpy mascara, false lashes on the top and graphic liner teamed with a defined strong brow and a red lip for a classic touch.
