Revolution, opportunity, alive, dance, together, network, opulent, wonderland, hedonism, excitement, respect, eclectic. While it sounds like a Ginsberg vocation, the poetic acronym for Road To Nowhere is the perfect explanation of the totally fun underground music and culture fest!
Conceived during Burning Man, Road to Nowhere travels through music festivals armed with costumes, props and a creative flair for party themes. The project kicked off at Glastonbury 2011 with a Pyjama Disco party. Since voguing through the muddy fields, this gang of artists and creatives have continued down their indefinite road to Ibiza, stopping off for a Mad Hatter’s tea party in a limo and a dress-up Paris is Burning extravaganza! Better not be late for this important date: Friday 2nd December marks RTN’s East London takeover at Gasworks East. If you’re game for getting lost in an Alice in Wonderland style labyrinth for a very reasonable fee of £0, then it might be time to fall through the rabbit hole, where you can expect to find laser heist, infinity disco and a game show. Not to mention installations by artists, Marc Owens and Benjamin Males, mosaics by Lauren Baker and music from several DJs and even an acoustic session by Warren Cahill. Consider dropping by this weekend for a revolutionary opportunity feeling alive dancing together in a social network!
