With six teams having set sail this weekend in the Volvo Ocean Race, footwear field-leaders Camper, have collaborated with Team New Zealand in the hope that they’ll hot foot it to the head of the pack.
Not only ranking as one of the favourites for the race with a crew consisting of accomplished sailors, but with a boat that’s going to grab the attention of sailing fanatics Camper are keen on cutting a fine path through the waves. i-D online caught a sneaky peek of the Volvo 70 yacht gliding down the Thames and through Tower Bridge, an exciting sight for spectators and building a nice anticipation for her trip around the world. Starting at Alicante hitting Cape Town, Abu Dhabi, Sanya, Aukland Itajai, Miami, Lisbon, Lorient and ending the race in Galway. We’re keeping our fingers crossed that the Camper entry will be the first to reach the Emerald Isle.
