No woman, no grime

Georgia Lewis Anderson is the face of online music platform SB.TV. If you haven’t heard of it, seriously, where were you?

If indeed you have been locked in a no woman no grime safe and are yet to witness Georgia’s oddball line of questioning with the music-media beast that is SB.TV, fear not, here she is working her charm to an i-D online camera. Breezing through interviews with hip hop heavyweights most people might just find a tad intimidating like Tinie Tempah and Sean Paul, the girl’s got guts. With her blend of posh chat and street slang (“What’s popping my old pal?”) and a lust for parrot print harem pants, Georgia is more than just a pretty face.

The 24-year old got her technical skills from a Journalism degree at City University and her trademark gold jewellery from the Kilburn streets she came from. Not afraid of tackling taboo, she investigated homophobia in the hip hop industry for Radio 1Xtra in July with her documentary No Homo. Going places fast, i-D online hung out with Georgia ahead of the new series of SBTV’s reality TV show. Watch this face!

Georgia’s top tips for success:

1. Work harder than everyone else.
2. Always be nice, whoever you’re talking to.
3. Know your worth and what you’re prepared to do.
4. Don’t take yourself too seriously!
5. Make sacrifices (which often means missing nights out.
