With the Frieze funfair playing host to some of the world’s most established and successful galleries, high street maestros COS teamed up with the fair to give a leg up to the more burgeonining institutions with their Frame initiative.
Tucked away in a corner of the Frieze fiesta, Frame welcomes twenty-six international galleries into Regents Park for the weekend. Over at i-D towers some of favourite Freize-framers included American artist Patrick Jackson who merged the L.A triumvirate of fashion, film and sex in his piece Head, Hands and Feet, taking the form of the Levi’s-clad, synthetic-gloved pair of mannequins based on Jackson himself (wild flowing mane and long beard excluded), gallerist Francois Ghebaly explained. Another firm fave was German artist Megan Francis Sullivan’s alphabet of scantily clad men courtesy of the Freymond-Guth Fine Arts Gallery. Amidst the hullabaloo of Frieze frenzied-ness, COS and Frame once again provided welcome respite and plenty to be excited about!
