Taking over i-D NOW’s pop-up space, London-based collective Get Me! rounded off a fortnight of festivities, showcasing freshly signed musical talents Becoming Real and Lil Silva.
Packing out the Red Gallery’s intimate exhibition space with throngs of friends to i-D and Get Me! the last night in our i-D NOW schedule ended it all on a high. Only allowing a select edit of those quick enough off the mark into the building, Get Me! team leaders Jett Letts and Daniel David Freeman warmed the session up, assuming their position behind the wheels of steel and stepping energies up until the headline acts arrived. 21-year-old producer and bass wielding bad-man Lil Silva was first in line, arriving bang on time to deliver his trademark experimental/ electronic sounds to our crowds, before the Becoming Real boys descended on the decks for the final set. Keeping eyes down, they commanded the final energies on the dance floor until the lights came on and the plugs got pulled.
