Despite all the pastel pinks, there was nothing girly about Riccardo Tisci’s Spring Summer collection. The Givenchy girl is still as tough and hardcore as ever. Razor-sharp tailoring, silver buckles, shark tooth necklaces and shiny eel skin ensured this aquatic inspired show was more about streamlined barracudas than fluffy sea anemone. Paillettes of laser-cut leather created a bad-girl mermaid effect whilst undulating lapels and come-hither peplums balanced the strong femininity and sex appeal that was at the heart of this collection.
