Carine’s World

AW11 has got off to a busy start for the First Lady of French fashion, Carine Roitfeld. Kicking things off by flashing a cheeky wink on the cover our Dreams and Aspirations Issue she’s been jet-setting here there and everywhere, taking no respite since leaving the helm at Vogue Paris. Kitting out the windows of Barney’s, New York and showing her local folk a good time in franco-fashion mecca colette, all this and inviting fascinated fans to gain an insight into her enigmatic mind in her new book, Irreverent. Here, we take a peek behind-her-sartorially-supreme-scenes, in a film shot and directed by regular i-D contributor Mario Sorrenti and produced by the terrific team at Barney’s, New York.
