TODD LYNN. London, 19/09/11

Up at LFW’s fashion bunker Todd Lynn showed an elegant and ladylike collection in muted tones of soft inky blues, blacks and stoney tones. His draped dresses, skirts and trousers topped-off with tailored jackets and natty detail are what he’s known for. Since emerging in ’06 with a cache of rock’n'roll ethos Todd makes well classy numbers. Structured yet slinky attitude, towering meshed ankle boots Todd featured tight trews and palazzo pants, skirts of all lengths and a couple of divine knitted pieces. Showstoppers? A body sculpture moment laced with gems and the overall effect of subtle layering.
