For spring/summer 2012, Theyskens showed off his extraordinary talent with a collection packed with clothes for every occasion. The show was brimming with convincing options for casual city weekends, chic Manhattan officewear, Brooklyn dance parties, right through to stunning red carpet looks. There was tons of very wearable rock ‘n’ roll daywear, but it was the metallic disco numbers and breathtaking eveningwear that really stood out. Highlights included a pair trousers in iridescent green cellophane, intricate web-like dresses and surprise guest of the week: Salman Rushdie!
