Nicole Farhi kicked-off with one of our top tracks of the year: Radiohead remixed by Caribou. An amazing tune for an amazing collection, in all of its colourful phases: pastel mustards and peaches, washed out apple greens, trippy flower power, and the SS12 essential, white. Loose fits and innovative draping were in abundance, from a baggy trench, to safari-style shirts with skirts, to a candy wrapper dress bound up in a bow, all accessorised with strappy white heels and lush red lips. Colourful prints wandered through shiny rose gardens and hallucinatory floral abstractions, and embellishments were hi-tech – diamond latticed sparkly orange dresses, scrunchy plastic adornments, tinselly detailing and cut-out flowers.
