Shirts, skirts and plenty of sequins were the order of the day at the Marc Jacobs SS12 show. The rumoured Dior successor put on quite the performance with an array of cabaret-inspired drop waist dresses, shiny gingham and sophisticated sportswear. Shimmying down the catwalk in see-through cowboy boots, headscarves and plenty of fringing, the girls were caught somewhere between 1930s Berlin, 1950s glamour and Studio 54. Nonetheless, it was the coloured cellophane dresses and skirts that caught everyone’s attention. These girls were all wrapped up and ready for action!
