Louise Gray. London, 19/09/11

Louise Gray made her head-swivelling, jaw-dropping, rainbow bright debut on the Topshop catwalk this season. Exploding onto the disused Eurostar tunnel turned runway each louder than life look was effortlessly accessorised with either a killer pair of Nicholas Kirkwood heels, a Nasir Mazir hat or an ankle strapped Pollini flat. With a collection that screamed TUMBLR Louise (sponsored by COTTON USA) gave us digi-phantasmagorical totes and melting GIF-print dresses, there were pop post internet vibes all over. Continuing the blog-tastic theme, all music came remixed: super girly No Doubt, reggae Nirvana and ragga Gwen Stefani, and girls in golden embellishments that jingled as they walked. What else? Crinkle-cut hair; frilly schoolgirl socks; net jumpers with the heart cut out like an emoticon; shiny happy rainbow pailettes; technicolour collage and photocopy paper head-dresses… oh and Charlotte Free as a pink patchwork troll… Blog. Retweet. Tumble. Done.
