i-D caught up with Limi after the show, and she explained her collection had been inspired by the British singer Imelda May. Not only did May provide the upbeat soundtrack, but her distinctive rockabilly spirit could be seen in the perfectly curled quiffs, sassy red lipstick and streetstyle vibe. Feu’s eclectic tattooed street-cast gang exuded swagger and intent in monochromatic and boldly graphic ensembles. Androgyny reigned supreme, but with playful additions such as contrasting peter pan collars, oversize buttons and baseball boots. Highlights included a slashed red jumper that looked ready to unravel, some great tailoring that was softened with swathes of lace and a roomy oversized jumpsuit that had bags of attitude!
