When the member of an established band takes a trip on the solo side the inevitable flood of ‘fish out of water’ quips ensue. Some might say, nowhere could this be more relevant for one Mr Kai Fish, one fifth of the Mystery Jets, but Kai’s cracking tunes would suggest something quite different! With his album ‘Life in Monochrome’ set for release on the 26th of September, Kai will be popping by the i-D NOW pop-up on Thursday 15th September for an intimate performance of some his upcoming tracks. The audio and visual bonanza that Kai presents will be one of the first snapshots into the artist’s solo project so do trot by for a slice of sweet sounding stuff!
