Holly Fulton’s peroxide beach blondes combined tropical babe exotica with intricate patterns – a look lounging somewhere in-between yacht in Nice harbour and Art Deco safari in Africa. Holly showed zebras, mirror snakes and silky geometrics in a happy holidays collection of party dresses, head scarves, swimwear and sunnies – in bright, bright colours and soundtracked by house, “When the sun goes down!” And the highlights of this sunny blonde bay? A zebra print cropped bomber above a skirt of punk-metal embellishments and a dress showing a sunburst over an ocean in sequins – compared, by a neighbour, to the graphic design of a “joyous evangelical church.”
