Sophia Kokosalaki continues to forge a hugely successful collaboration with Diesel Black Gold. This season, heavy metals, shiny metallics and broken mirrors dominated proceedings. Throw in some hi-tech scuba pieces and well placed industrial details and what you have is a collection full of contemporary ideas – and not a stitch of blue denim in sight! As you would expect, highlights included Kokosalaki’s signature dresses, draping effortlessly but toughened by technical-looking workwear straps. The shining star (literally) of this collection, was the amazing metallics used throughout. Kokosalaki explained after the show that this was achieved by photographing mirrors, printing them on foil and fusing them with leather. A well considered collection, with just the right amount of razzle dazzle!
