A busy London Fashion weekend ended on a high with a super slick Acne show in the old postal sorting office – a hall of mirrors, stadium seating and towering robo-camera cranes swinging menacingly overhead… All echoing in liquid Swedish-sounding house. And the collection? A crispy fresh blend of NY hip-hop styles-oversized garms, iced jeans and peak caps-and rigid, right-angled flatplack fashion. Think MASSIVE straight-cut orange parachute pants, flowing shirts-into-capes, and huge cherry super tunics. Also a hot violet tee atop Dijon mustard trousers, frilly royal regency shoes, photocopied monochrome prints… A fast, furious and impressive outing!
