When it comes to colouring in your face, trust is everything.
i-D beauty contributor Lucy Bridge is the first in line for our new ‘Tried + Tested’ series, aimed at reducing that ho-humming process when you ask for an eyeshadow and they show you three thousand. Au fait in shades and shadows, with a hand as steady as a rock, Lucy is as good as her word. Practicing what she preaches, here’s the lovely red-fringed lady putting some new magical MAC products through their paces in our beauty boot camp. Now drop and give me twenty feline flicks!
Give it to us straight Lucy…
Colourizations Collection: Duo Shadows
What I love about these shadows is that they’re so versatile. You can create a subtle blended eye or a graphic sharp one. They are great for everyone and there is a range of different colour combinations. Each palette has a softer shade colour and another that’s a little more striking.
Glamglass Collection
Glamglass offers a range of different coloured glosses and lip pencils to suit the natural or the more extravagant. Even with their opaque colours you can hardly tell they’re on your lips, a benefit that most people would appreciate. The lip pencils are the perfect addition to MAC’s already great colour range, the firm yet precise tip allows you to get a really sharp, even pout that will last all day! Fill your entire lip in with the liner to create more colour depth. This will also act as a primer to any gloss added over the top! Always remember not to moisturise your lips just before using a lip liner if you want a sharp edge this will only make it feather instantly. Lip glosses and lip pencils are a great addition to any make-up bag or make-up artists kit! Just pick the shades which express the real you!
