Equipped with a pair of Pacific baby blues, illuminated by cascading locks of the finest spun gold and blessed with a delicate, fawn like elegance, Fredrik Ferrier is the model turned singer who was Made in Chelsea. Swoooooon.
A typical day in the life of Sloane ranger Freddy Ferrier? Gym, yoga, dating, drinks, filming, shooting, frolicking and fraternising. Not a bad life for a guy who graduated only a week ago. Never into school, going to the local or lazing about, this long-haired lush has always had his eyes firmly on the prize; London was the trophy and now he’s owning the West End, since the release of E4 sensation reality TV show Made in Chelsea. Headhunted by the programme’s producers, who made contact with the 21-year-old after hearing about his antics from his bezzie mate and fellow co-star Francis, Freddy pranced into his casting call wearing furs before signing, sealing and delivering a contract which would elevate him to minor-celebrity status.
Talented in more ways than one, the Chelsea-based, Bristol university graduate has lived in nine countries and is a skilled linguist (not mentioning his fluency in the language of love, he once dated six-foot-something, high-fashion runway model Eva Poloníova. A classically trained violinist AND pianist, he is currently pursuing a solo singing career which he hopes will prove more fruitful than Caggy’s garden-party flop (see episode seven)! Comparing his sound and style to Michael Bublé with a bit of Justin Timberlake, Freddy explains: “classical training just means that you’re trained with how you use your voice, because everyone has a voice but training allows you to find certain nuances about your voice.” Chuffed by his Dad’s evaluation of him being “the least offensive person on the show”, Freddy tries not to be arrogant but has attracted his fair share of underage stalkers – check out his Twitter page to find out more! Undeterred by critics, sceptics or haters, he promises to soon be crooning his way through the second instalment of the Sloaney series, expected later this year.
i-D online hung out with the one time Agne-loving lad to find out who’s commanding his attention right now and how he would chat us up if we were lucky enough to stumble across him dancing one night down Whisky Mist… Hubba hubba.
