Midnight in Shanghai was the feeling evoked by this seasons collection by Giorgio Armani Privé. Shoulders peaked like pagoda’s, Japanese florals adorned waistlines and jackets via large prints. Evening dresses played with the kimono shape and one highlight was an oversized, dramatic bow across a hip. This collection was demure and elegant with high necklines and emphasis on a tall, sleek silhouette rather than va-va bosoms or hips. Evening wear with a thematic twist.
