
Lola Peach Bethnal Green based music photographer Lola moonlights as the manager of an online vintage boutique. With hopes to put together a book of snaps and even own a gallery, Lola describes her style as ‘playful, mix’n'match and punk’. Her hair is snipped by Crystal from Hands Hair salon in London’s Soho and right now she’s feeling inspired by a spot of Joan Jett and Jennie Batten.

Felippe Johann and Feral Bojangles Feral is a 25-year-old hair stylist from London. Inspired by comic books and his love of colour, Feral describes his style as “a bit tribal” and considers his hair to be like a hat he can chop and change everyday. His secret ingredient is “Febreeze”! Friend of Feral,Felippe is a fashion designer, also based in London. Describing himself as “a punk boy on heels”, Felippe relishes the fashionable freedom that being a designer allows him. Alternating between hairdressers (sometimes Feral, sometimes his flatmate and sometimes the lovely Vietnamese lady around the corner), Felippe’s follicles have seen it all: shaved, short, fringed, extended and coloured. You name it, Felippe’s done it.

Cassie Green Knitter Cassie weaves her emotions with her fast-moving fashion needles. A student at Central Saint Martins, Cassie describes her style as “little skirts, big shoes” and has some mad-hair moments, “frizz hair after a month of braids was an interesting look!” Inspired by galaxies, wood grain and her cat ‘Banana’, she describes her beauty routine as “splish splash splosh, wham bam thank you ma’am.”

Claire Barrow i-D old-timer Claire Barrow is the 21-year-old Dalstonite with a special skill for giving leather jackets a second life. A fashion design student at the University of Westminster, Claire gets a kick out of seeing people wearing her hand-painted leather creations (see i-D’s interview and shoot here). Another BLEACH visitor and the proud owner of a barnet that’s seen many colours in its time, Claire’s favourite hair shade is purple and her secret to keeping primped and preened is keeping to a strictly ordered routine: make-up, hair (usually just rolling out of bed and tying/pinning it up) then dressing.

Tessa Edwards Central Saint Martins graduate Tessa Edwards is a clothes and accessories designer. With a haircut inspired by the cover of the Wagamama cook book (her words not ours) this expressively dressed designer lists just one secret to keeping herself cleaned and preened: “a cup of tea.” She’s hopping off now to share some hair-raising happiness with the wizard, thanks Tessa!

Antonio Mingot and Luca Guarini Antonio is a 21-year-old photographer, working in London. Snapping all sorts of stylish things, Antonio has recently been working on the recently released, much-anticipated DUST magazine. Keeping his style simple Antonio chooses a muted palette which he likes to complement with well-cut, simple patterns. Joining Antonio is Luca, a jack-of-all-trades who describes his style as “proletarian delinquency.” Relying on his local Nigerian barber to trim his barnet Antonio must hop to it now, he’s off to “help the world”!

Alis Pelleschi Born and bred in Bradford Alis Pelleschi is 23 and now based in London. A budding photographer, Alis’s aspirations are pure and simple: “to meet loads of interesting fun people.” Beautifully describing her style as “a big shubundle of Bradford, chav, dark, bambified and boom”, Alis has her hair dip-dyed by the BLEACH girls but likes to self-chop. A busy day ahead Alis must dash, what lies ahead is… “bingo, chip shop and then I’m off to shoot some guys naked!”

Danielle and Nicole Technicolour Danielle and Nicole Kahlani are a hair and make-up doing duo from London. Living the dream, both Danielle and Nicole studied at London College of Fashion and aspire to make a major contribution to the fashion industry, producing inspirational imagery along the way. Likening their sense of style to movies The Craft and Empire Records their preening routine goes a little something like this: ‘Reapply crazy colour rainbow roots, moisturise skin, blacken eyes, line lips, pull on black tights, yin and yang choker and our biggest shoes.
